This course is designed to prevent corruption in the sale or transfer of liquor license The Transfer of a Liquor License is a vital process for any municipality. In many towns and cities, the investigation associated with this process is given little or no attention, which allows for corruption in the sale or transfer. This program will provide the investigator responsible for this type of investigation the tools and tactics needed to uncover impropriety including: tracking the source of cash, discovering the true hidden partners, and ensuring that all of the pertinent laws are followed. A solid transfer investigation requires that an officer explore areas that are different that a normal criminal investigation. Learning where to look and what to ask can make the difference in a legitimate transfer and one that can involve organized crime.
